The Malphigia, also known as the Barbados Cherry is native to the Caribbean. It is suitable as a bonsai due to their small leaves, fruit and features fine ramification. It has dark green, glossy elongated leaves that are slightly rounded at the apex. Gorgeous pink flowers develop in the spring and in the fall produce fully edible bright red glossy cherries. This is a suitable species for beginners, allowing slight over or under watering.
Featuring a Blue Calcite This stone is known to calm emotions and offers mental and spiritual protection. Blue Calcite is very protective when it comes to one's aura, and offers very strong transmutational energies.
Keep in bright filtered light. Keep soil evenly moist. Do NOT let the soil fully dry out. To check moisture, feel if the top of the soil is dry to the touch. If so, it is time to water. Water gently and thoroughly from above, allowing the pot to drain over a sink or tray. Fertilize monthly between May - Nov with the Bonsai (recommended) or the general fertilizer. Recommended temperature is 65 degrees F and up.
Ceramic Pot is included.
