The Powder Puff, also known as Calliandra Schultzei, is native to Southern Mexico but can found widely across Asia as well. The Powder Puff gets its name from the red, white or pink Puff ball-like flowers. Featuring Pinnate leaves that close at night and open in the morning. This tree has a personality of its own and its long blooming season makes this tree a beautiful addition to any home.

Keep in the bright filtered light. Keep soil evenly moist. To check moisture, feel if the top of the soil is dry to the touch. If so, it is time to water. Do NOT allow to completely dry out. Water by submerging the pot in water until the bubbles stop appearing. Fertilize biweekly between May - Nov with the Bonsai (recommended) or the general fertilizer. Recommended temperature is 65 degrees F and up.
