Ficus Wiandi is a variety of Ficus Benjamina. This species of Ficus tree is used for bonsai as it does not grow vertically quickly, rather it grows laterally quickly. It is also characterized by the unique growth pattern of the branches. They grow their branches in a 'zig zag' pattern, growing at 90 degree angles frequently. Achieving heights of around 80cm in total and about 50cm and width this tree is a perfect specimen for Bonsai. Extremely resilient, can tolerate short droughts and slight over waterings, great in almost any light condition and reacts well to pruning.

Let soil just dry out between watering's. To check moisture, feel if the top of the soil is dry to the touch. If so, it is time to water. Water gently and thoroughly from above, allowing the pot to drain over a sink or tray. Fertilize monthly between May - Nov with the Bonsai (recommended) or the general fertilizer. Recommended temperature is 60 degrees F and up.
